Are there any age restrictions?

We accept all ages here. There is no upper age limit but under 17’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Will we have the dorm to ourselves or have to share?

When you book a group through us on the phone we will guarantee that nobody else will be staying in your room. Conditions apply.

Will we have en-suite?

All our rooms are en-suite!

What’s included?

Are groups entitled to a discount?

Discount may be offered to school/college groups of 20 people or more if staying Sun-Thurs and for more than 1 night.

Do you request a deposit on arrival?

One member of the group will be required to give a credit card on arrival for a group deposit. We will pre-authorise the card for £300. If you do not have a credit card with sufficient funds then we will take a cash deposit.
You will be charged if:

  • Damages or breakage on hostel property
  • Members of the group misbehaving
  • Smoking or interfering with fire alarms/ smoke detectors
  • Key cards lost for room

How far in advance should I book?

We would advise you to book between 1-6 months in advance. The sooner you book the better chance you will have of finding the dates and room types you prefer.

How to book?

We advise all groups to call us direct on 0151 709 8135. You can also fill out a group booking enquiry . The sooner you let us know the better. We can then cater the trip and let you know all the options available.

What time can we check in?

Check in time is 3pm. However if you arrive before this we can offer you a luggage room where your bags will be safely stored until you check in.

Is there anywhere we can eat?

There is a large kitchen in the hostel with cooker, microwave and pans. We also provide free tea, coffee and toast and this is available all day. There is a café on site. Breakfast start from £3 and packed lunches can be arranged. For further information please call 0151 708 5561.

What do I have to pay?

We ask you to pay the first night’s stay as a deposit when you make your reservation with the remaining balance due on check in.

What payment method do you accept?

Most groups pay by credit/debit cards. We do allow college groups to use a bank transfer. We can email you invoices and receipts at request.

What is your cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy for groups is 2 weeks. If you cancel outside this period your deposit is refundable. If you wish to amend the booking please inform us as soon as possible as there can we cannot change any group bookings inside the 2 week cancellation period.
